HTC HeroIt is officially announced now that the HTC Hero will be named a more common name for the T-mobile. The company names the device as the HTC G1 Touch and feels it is the right name for the device to sit comfortably in the portfolio next to the original G1 releases.

Experts also feel that this may also be an effort from the company to mask the company’s miss from seizing the HTC magic from Vodafone. G1 Touch is a really cool phone from HTC with 5 mega pixel camera and a highly efficient touch screen. The smart phone is also known for its high speed internet connectivity and its support for high quality music.
