Microsoft security essentialsMicrosoft is about to launch its beta version of anti-malware service, which is called the Microsoft security essentials, on Tuesday as it is making OneCare suite Live for offering simpler consumer security. Offered in two languages viz the English and Brazilian Portuguese, the Microsoft Security Essentials would run on windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7 and will be available in the U.S. and Brazil.

Later this year a beta version in simplified Chinese is expected to be released. This software would monitor the programs in the PC. If any changes say any downloads happen then it would be monitored by this service, and checked against the malware signatures.
