Some might claim that Nokia is indeed unbeatable and some might talk about how their phones have changed their lives, what is certain however that every new release is unique and definitely dependable. The same in fact can be said about their latest release the Nokia N97.

The first eye-grabber about the phone is the slick slide out and mind you the design is in no way rough around the edges. The QWERTY keypad swiftly slides out and positions itself at a convenient angle making it one of the most comfortable phones on the market for typing out emails and messages. Nonetheless, Nokia also guarantees that you may play with the sliding, for quite a while before something actually breaks!

The phone indeed does feel like one big powerhouse, it has a mammoth 32GB in built memory that can be further expanded to around 64GB and thus you can be rest assured to not run out of storage space and capacity.

Another great feature worth mentioning about the phone is its locking system. The lock key is in a siding system on the left side of the phone, and you simply slide the key in and out to bring it in or out of the idle mode. Better still, there is a buzzing indication to tell you about the mode changes.

The home screen of the phone in fact is a new and unique design for this particular model; with features of selecting some important widgets such as – clock, Facebook, contacts and a great feature called Accuweather, for a description of the current weather conditions. The Menu display continues to remain in Nokia’s signature style of the grid system and makes icons easily accessible.

Not to mention that the model is a touchscreen, it is quite similar in its navigation style with the 5800 Express Music, but is only more efficient and faster than the previous model.

Finding contacts and calling follow similar methods as other Nokia models with only better graphics and an easier navigation style, with neatly laid out options of texting the contact or calling or video calling him or her. A sophisticated touch added to the phone is how the call receiving and ending buttons are made touch sensitive as well.

With that tremendous memory, the phone is largely a media phone with brilliant audio quality and picture quality for photographs and videos.
