With the end of first quarter of 2010 the US markets are flooded with the new tech gadgets. This year manufacturers of electronic products are promising customers to provide them unique features in their products. The mobile phone market has many eyes on them. This march, Samsung launched its new two mobile phones of same series A697 Sunburst and A687 Strive , Samsung i9000 kfz halterung , Samsung Galaxy S series.

Although the era is said to be of 3G, Samsung has adopted a more moderate approach at the start as these models are simple as compared to the touch screen trend. Samsung has an individuality and its own fan following. According to its high officials it is said that phones are made according to the increasing trend of texting and twittering among US citizens. The phones are also launched first in the US and will be offered in other countries in the third or fourth quarter of 2010.

Features : The Samsung A687 Strive offers a sliding tray with a QWERTY keyboard to offer. This step was taken as many phones now a days are touch screen and the users are not yet satisfied with their texting feature as touch screen are too sensitive and it becomes difficult to write messages. It has a bright screen to support up to 1600 by 1200 pixels. The screen size is 2.6 inch which is quite good for a cell phone of this type. Samsung also claims to overcome the defect in sliding of its previous sets and these new phones are free from those faults. Another thing promised is the keys will not crack as these are designed and made with a focus for text users.

Design : It is not a very different looking set as same style phones have already been in the market. But for Samsung lovers it is good to see QWERTY board phone that gives first look of a touch screen phone. The material of the phone is also not very expensive and gives a low cost look.

Affordability : The phone is very cheap and is worth the low price as it is durable and reliable because Samsung does not compromise on the working and performance quality of the phone. The phone is considered to be cheap as compared to the other class of mobile phones currently in market and offers a good option for the teenagers to get a quality brand product under such reasonable prices. The phone has only one thing that disturbs the customer even after so good features and  that is camera of 2.1 mega pixel. It does not offer 3G and no Wi-Fi connectivity. However it has upgraded software that offers fast speed browsing and you can easily upload your pictures to the social networking sites.

The phone is yet available to US customers only and Samsung plans to introduce it to the other markets in different regions in the third or fourth quarter of 2010. Samsung is a trusted brand and it remains to be seen, where this phone takes Samsung in terms of popularity.
