Discovery Sets Forth ISS Mission
Finally, the space shuttle Discovery has been set forth to ISS (international Space Station) mission that was lifted-off on Sunday.
This NASA mission that is going to see the seven-man crew fit solar wings for the station and because of some valve and hydrogen leak problems, the mission had been delayed for quite some time.
The shuttle is going to lead one of the four planned spacewalks that have been planned to drop from this program.
Mike Leinbach, director of NASA Launch, seemed quite excited with the blast off the shuttle and said, “No doubt, this one is the most exciting visual launch I have ever seen, it is awesome indeed.”
“It’s an honor for me that I am a part of this great team.”
Discovery is going to leave for the mission prior to a Russian rocket mission it is expected to arrive with a new crew for this station on 26th March.
