Visitors of Oregon University’s System Web Site could not find themselves within the site due to the attacks of hackers. This repeated attack took over 90 minutes and redirected users to another site which was controlled and dominated by the hackers. There was this 89 word criticism based on the protests in Iran at this site. All these happened in the morning of June 25th in San Francisco.
In bold red and black the site read out “we never cheated in elections”. The message also included an invective that was aimed at President Barack Obama. It also made several derogatory comments about the leader Mir Hossein Mousavi of Iran. This oppositional leader claimed that the presidential elections held in June 12th were rigged.
It is officially announced now that the HTC Hero will be named a more common name for the T-mobile. The company names the device as the HTC G1 Touch and feels it is the right name for the device to sit comfortably in the portfolio next to the original G1 releases.
Experts also feel that this may also be an effort from the company to mask the company’s miss from seizing the HTC magic from Vodafone. G1 Touch is a really cool phone from HTC with 5 mega pixel camera and a highly efficient touch screen. The smart phone is also known for its high speed internet connectivity and its support for high quality music.
Now there comes a stop for those who are a freak of playing games and watching high definition videos. Sony is going to launch a Blu ray notebook that is built in Blu ray disk drive which can play movies and store a lot of data.
This product of Sony is going to cost $3500. Some of the features of this Blu ray notebook are; it has one GB memory, a 17 inch screen and it will come with an Intel Core Duo Processor. This Vaio NW spins BD at around £550. It uses an XBrite-Eco LCD displays and for high definition play back it is using an HDMI output.
Microsoft is about to launch its beta version of anti-malware service, which is called the Microsoft security essentials, on Tuesday as it is making OneCare suite Live for offering simpler consumer security. Offered in two languages viz the English and Brazilian Portuguese, the Microsoft Security Essentials would run on windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7 and will be available in the U.S. and Brazil.
Later this year a beta version in simplified Chinese is expected to be released. This software would monitor the programs in the PC. If any changes say any downloads happen then it would be monitored by this service, and checked against the malware signatures.
